Terminal Information - Arriving

You can take the Canada Line Rail, which connects YVR to downtown Vancouver in under 30 minutes and downtown Richmond in 18 minutes. The trains are accessible from both the International and Domestic Terminals. A single fare costs $9 CAD (₪25). If you take a taxi, the rates are fixed depending on the zone. Things you should know

Israeli citizens, just like most non-Canadians, need an electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). If you are a U.S. citizen or a traveler with a valid Canadian visa, you are exempted. It costs only $7 CAD (less than ₪20), and it’s valid for five years, so it’s not too big of a hassle to take care of it. You need to apply online, and if there are no errors, your application will be approved within minutes. It is recommended to book your flights from Tel Aviv to Vancouver after you obtained the eTA. For the eTA, you will need your passport, a credit card, and an e-mail address.
