Why Fly With easyJet

How to Check-in:

Whether you are travelling with cabin bag or hold luggage, you can check in online. easyJet has one of the most comfortable check-in policies which allows you to check in 30 days before your flight. You can check-in and print your boarding pass up to 2 hours before the departure of your flight. When you fly from Tel Aviv, you are requested to allow additional time for check-in and security. All easyJet flights depart from Terminal 1 and check-in desks will open 3 hours before the flight. Departing on time is very important for easyJet airlines, so the desks close 60 minutes before departure. Don’t worry about shopping, right after check-in and baggage drop you will be transferred by a comfortable bus to the Duty Free shops in Terminal 3. On your flight to Tel Aviv, you can use the easyJet app to download your boarding pass to your cell phone, and save you the stress of finding a cafe or hotel with printing services.

Baggage Allowances and Fees:

When you fly just for a few days, you can make your vacation really cheap by bringing only a trolley which you take into the cabin. It should measure up to 56cm x 45cm x 25 centimeters including handles and wheels. Unlike most airlines, with easyJet there is no weight restriction for the cabin item, as long as you can put it in the cabins above your seat without assistance - it will be accepted. Please note that in some busy flights you will be asked to send it to the hold for free. When you fly from Tel Aviv you can take any amount of liquids and creams into the cabin, however from all the airports in Europe; there are heavy restrictions. Any item with more than 100ml will have to be sent to the hold, or you will have to leave it at the airport. Hold luggage can be booked online in advance for a fee. Alternatively, you can add and book hold luggage directly at the airport but it the fee will be higher than online. Each passenger can bring up to 3 pieces, as long as each one doesn’t weigh more than 32kg and the combined weight doesn’t exceed 60kg. If you fly with your friends or family, you can divide the weight between you so that you can have 15kg and your partner can have 25kg. Seating

Remember, easyJet is a low cost airline, so to keep easyJet flights as cheap as possible, your seat will be allocated to you for free when you check in. If you have a favorite seat, flying with friends or family and you want to sit together, or simply you want that window seat, you can book a specific seat for extra charge. It starts from less than $5 from and to Tel Aviv, and if you want a seat Up Front or need more legroom, it would cost more. easyJet seats generally have 72.5 centimeters legroom, so if you are taller you might want to consider paying that extra few Shekels. It comes with another benefit, when you buy an upfront seat or purchase an extra legroom seat, you are allowed to board the plane with two cabin items, and enjoy speedy boarding.

Booking Fees

When you are browsing cheap easyJet flights, you see the final price including booking fees and taxes. If you choose to pay with a credit card, there will be an additional fee of 1% of the total transaction value. When you search for easyJet flights on Skyscanner, you can see the prices in Israeli Shekels, however the payment on easyJet booking will be done in Dollars, Euro or British Pound. Service on Board

If you are hungry during the flight, you can buy meal deals for 16-50 Shekels. You can pay in cash with Euro or British pound. Alternatively, you can pay with Visa, Mastercard, or American Express credit cards. Sometimes buying food on easyJet flights can be even cheaper than buying food at the Duty-Free.
