Nairobi Airport

Nairobi has two airports:

Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO): Most international and domestic flights arrive here. The airport is located 15 km southeast of Nairobi's central business district. The local buses from the airport to the city belong to private companies and usually seat 20-35 passengers, standing passengers are not allowed by law. Bus 34 runs from the airport to The Ambassador Hotel in downtown Nairobi for a very inexpensive price. You can take a taxi just outside the arrival hall. Licensed taxis are metered, so the final price depends on your exact destination, but expect to pay around 1,500 KES (around ₪51). If you arrive during rush hours, meaning 7:00-9:00 and 16:30-18:30, expect a very long journey into town by its jammed traffic.

Wilson Airport (WIL): Located in Nairobi County, in the city of Nairobi, approximately 4 km south of the central business district and 18 km west of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Airkenya and other small airlines use it scheduled domestic flights, as well as Safarlink.
