Ben Gurion AIrport TLV is known as נתב”ג - נמל התעופה בן גוריון. UP/EL AL flights from Tel Aviv to Prague depart from Terminal 1. All other Tel Aviv Prague flights depart from Terminal 3. You are requested to arrive at Ben Gurion AIrport TLV three hours prior to the flight scheduled departure time to allow sufficient time for security checks. There is a wide selection of local and international wines and liquors, and you can store everything at the “פטור ושמור” services so that it will wait for you at the airport upon your return to Israel.

Tel Aviv Prague flights arrive at Václav Havel Airport PRG, formerly known as Prague–Ruzyně Airport. Prague airport has begun operations on 5 April 1937. The airport has four terminals, and it is located 10 km west of the city center. Flights from Tel Aviv to Prague and from Prague to Tel Aviv are handled in Terminal 1.

The most cost-effective way to reach the city center is by bus 100 or 119. There is no direct train from the airport to the city center. Buses depart every 15-18 minutes, and the ride costs 32 Czech Koruna which is about ₪5.40. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes including transfers if needed. You can also use the Airport Express bus shuttle which departs every 35 minutes to the central train station.

Things you should know before booking Prague flights

Israeli passport holders don’t need a visa to enter the Czech Republic. Make sure that your passport is valid for at least 90 days after your departure from Prague before you finalize your booking. You can stay in the Czech Republic up to 90 days. However, the border control officer may allow you shorter visit permission. If you are using a European passport, you may go to the EU line. Otherwise, proceed to the “all passports” line.
