Emirates is the 4th largest airline in the world in terms of number of passengers and is well known for its high standards and outstanding service. Emirates Business and First classes have won awards and are known for being luxurious. Since its inaugural flight in 1985 from Dubai to India, the airline has become one of the few airlines which fly to all six inhabited continents. All together Emirates serves 140 destinations in 70 countries.

Since Israel and the United Arab Emirates have no official diplomatic relationship, there are no Emirates flights to Israel. You can fly with Emirates to other destinations, for example in Asia or Australia from Amman, but you may not leave the airport in Dubai with an Israeli passport.

Why Fly With Emirates

How to Check In

You can check in online as early as 48 hours before departure. You can have your boarding pass sent to your mobile device, or print it before arriving at the airport. If you do not have a printer, you can check in at the check-in desks at the airport free of charge. During the check-in process, you will be able to select your seat for free. Check-in counters open 3 hours before departure. Whether you check in online or at the airport, you must complete the process no later than 90 minutes prior to departure. Boarding starts 45 minutes before taking off, but don’t take your time - gates close 20 minutes before departure, and you will not be admitted afterward.

On most of its planes, Emirates has a generous legroom in Economy Class - 81-86.4 cm, depending on the plane. Some of the seats are equipped with power sockets for your laptop or smartphone.
